Thank you. Importation isn't so much the issue since what we buy here in the AR model is manufactured domestically. It would affect AKs, but is doesn't say AKs. Also, it's a 2019 story from her last (failed) campaign.


Herbert Herbert B000sh used that same excuse to ban Belgian-made FN FAL rifles in 1990 (I think). I pledge to un-ban those when I am elected president.

CMP isn't selling the M14 that I know of. The real one is select-fire and not available to non class 3 licensees. The M1A is semi-auto and available for well under $2000. Well, not well enough under, but enough to cover shipping and sales tax. Then you can buy whatever funky stock and accessories you like an tart it up to your taste. Nowhere near as many accessories as AR Barbie-for-men stuff, but a few.


CMP still has M1s, but for any selection, you'll have to look at the private market.

It's because still not many people can make a rapid switch from metric to standard or standard to metric measurements.

I sometimes mess with people at my job when they ask for 2x4x8 foot and say you mean 5 cm x 20 cm x 2.44 meters? That gets me some WTF looks!!

Actually, that exactly the kid of thing we post here under the "n-stuff" part of the thread. The attention-seekers won't have the faintest idea what that is or why it's funny, but they'll try to twist how it looks like a swastika out of it. They'll be wanting to round up the Navajos as soon as they find out about their millennia old usage of the thing.

See, this is the shit that used to be common on Lit back in what Wat refers to as the Halcyon Days. It was why we kept coming back and why we made friends and then hung on to them. They would also loving tell you that it's more like 19mm.
