Yes, I think so. They do it for territory, the forwards need to tackle and win the ball back.

So you work the ball down the field. Kick it to get advantage of field position and try and take it away. So that you're in a better position to score.

Yes. Or you kick it out, for a throw in and try and win it back, or get a scrum.

I watched a fair bit of Rugby when I lived in Europe and during our NFL labor strikes here in the US our version of SkySports (ESPN) would carry either Rugby or Aussie Rules. I basically have the rules of Rugby figured out (except when they randomly punt the ball away!) but Assuie Rules is still a mystery! Both are fun to watch.

There’s a couple of teams or maybe several that play for the Ol’ Log of Wood. A literal piece of driftwood. Not sure if it’s like the SuperBowl here but they sure seemed geeked up about winning it!

Fresca is delicious. I went cold turkey on the diet pepsi..... the headache should be tomorrow....then Tuesday will be bye bye to sugar..... I am getting my life back in order

Caffeine withdrawal is no joke. If it gets bad consider tapering off instead of cold turkey. I had to do that when I kicked caffeine.
Sugar is insidious. It's snuck into so many foods under a myriad of names.
Good for you deciding what you need and making healthier choices to get you there.

If I were you. Heavy landscaping fabric and rocks. Any weeds pull right out or spray them. I went with river bed stone. A little expensive but looks good and no more mulching every year or two.

Loved you all trying to work out the rules of rugby. But there are two types as alluded…Union or League with different rules.

Union
Only pass back not side or forwards.
When tackled you must release the ball (and hope your pals are there to pick it up)
You keep it until it is taken off you
Kick it away in field to put pressure on the other side when you try to win it back, or out to win it back when it is thrown in again
Score by putting it down in the other End Zone or kicking it into the top part of the H

League
All as above largely except you don’t release on the tackle.
You can be tackled five times then the other side get it back so after the fourth tackle you kick it away
No kicking out of field

Simple really….not!
