Kamala’s 2024 Presidential Run

What? Let me try again. I thought the Hillary holdouts voted for Biden. You already have them in your corner.
You can try again, it doesnt mean I have answers to your questions. I never said Hilary holdouts voted for Biden
..you did

Voter registration up over 35% in Virginia with VP Harris now leading Democratic ticket

Let's just hope suburban Virginia voters turn out this time. Their light turnout in Virginia allowed self-funded millionaire Republican Glenn Youngkin to basically purchase the governorship of Virginia in 2022. Glenn Youngkin seeks political advice from his friend Ted Cruz, which tells you about the (lack of) content of his character.

This election has had a direct impact on the 2024 election, as Virginia Senator Mark Warner woulda/shoulda been a prohibitive favorite for the VP slot, but that would allow the conspiracy theory governor Youngkin to name Warner's replacement for his unexpired term, and Youngkin is basically a JD Vance clone who doesn't say the quiet parts out loud.

The numbers problem has always been on the Republican side. Trump has never won a popular vote. That’s a fact. Republicans have lost virtually every election since Roe was overturned. You now have a nominee and his vp candidate brag about taking women’s rights and who wants to nationwide ban. You’re gonna need to suppress more votes in unexpected places.

If I recall correctly, his opponent ran as a me-too Republican and gave left-of-center voters little reason to turn out. That's not happening with Kamala.

I've got nothing against Warner, but he would have added nothing to the ticket. Dems are already favored in Virginia, and Warner doesn't appeal to any particular constituency that Harris needs to shore up.

Despite a GOP voter registration edge, Democrats managed to win races for governor, U.S. Senate, Secretary of State and Attorney General in the 2022 midterms.

The 1.4 million undeclared voters decide elections in Arizona, and they’ve supported Democratic Party candidates lately. 👍

And inflation and border problems were waaaaaay worse back then. (And Trump, J.D. Vance, and “Project 2025” weren’t staring them in the face.)

Ignore the polls and the spin. Everybody just needs to get out the vote.

And Kamala, etc, need to hammer Trump and the republicans for sabotaging the border security bill, and point to the low number of border crossings after President Biden’s EO.

👍
