They are beautiful. We have red tailed hawks, Cooper’s hawks, barn owls and eagles here.

I think I’ve seen an osprey too. Just not sure.

We have ospreys down a long the river. Eagles can turn up anywhere, including muscling their way in among the vultures for some tasty roadkill. Red tails I know. The owls were hooters.

Holy shit. Was a day of cleanup.

First our house. Cut up logs from the storm and split them.

Then helped neighbors cut theirs up, and I trailers the logs for firewood and brought em down to the farm.

By then it was already 2 and had to mow our lawn (2 hrs) and then the farm yard and the meadow (2 hrs). We have a site visit next Tuesday for a grant that we were awarded so we wanna put our best foot forward.

Weed whacking and trim tomorrow.

I’m shot. Or as greylag might say, “I’m knackered.”

Do you guys remember the Laff A Lympics? There were three teams, The Yogis the Scooby Doobies and my faves: the Really Rottens.

They were all the bad guys, including Mumbly (muttley) and the Dread Baron (dick dastardly)
