She decided to spend her time on more enjoyable things than being targeted by trolls. She's still around, just not active in the AH any more, to our very great loss imo.

Thank you so much Wanda. I agree with you on both counts. Emily’s disappearance is a great loss to all of us — or at least most of us. Personally I miss her so much. On the other hand, I think she needed to get away from here to preserve her sanity. For some reason, she seemed to be a troll magnet. I don’t know if they were from her pre-Lit days or just people on Lit who felt hostility toward her for some unknown reason. Either way, she didn’t deserve the shit they threw at her. I also think she was trying to do too much: writing long multi-part stories, running various threads and responding to those who posted on them, giving advice to anyone who needed it, and seeking out lesbian octopi to lure into her bed. Sometimes the brain just needs a little holiday. Don’t worry, I think I know a couple other places to look for her. One day, maybe she’ll feel comfortable enough to come back to us.

Plenty! Lots of well-paying work from new clients. A big cuddle from my cat this evening while I was writing. Some decent progress with the next chapter of my sci-fi series "The Dome". All the very positive response to the WIWAW challenge, from writers and readers alike. One of my stories is closing in on 150k views.

And I just found a bottle of fancy Macallan in the back of my whisky cupboard that I'd forgotten about.
