Everyone have a good night. I am shutting down for the night. Last meeting of the day where I get told that the dumbest laziest know it all idiot gets my project that I have been busting my ass to get.... i have the mist experience, but she is going to lead that team...really..... but I can "pick" from the other projects the one or two I am most interested in.

Sorry to hear this and yes it is a kick in the teeth but it’s out of your control now. In your shoes I would just pick the one I am most interested in and focus on that. Any requests for help on the one I lost would just be declined and that’s it. “It’s your project not mine… you deal with it!”……etc.

Sleep well then come sit with me when you are back in the bar and we can moan about levels of crapiness together!

Happy Wednesday!!! Slept decently. It was very nice that TDK was in her regular kitten perch when I got up. She has been up my ass a little bit, and she got under my feet while I was going in for the coffee refill. Squawked like it was my fault. She's already killed a bug this morning.


Looks like we may get some rain this afternoon and over the next several days. Right now, it's 80-n-80 out there, which is kind of disgusting. The good news is, Wat has been doing this long enough that he's somewhat used to adapting to it. So, off to walk shortly.

Listened to the all star game on an old radio. Kinda cool and old school. AM radio so you could hear all the weather interference. Old school.

No power back yet, generator on all night. I’ll have to shut her down and check the oil before I go to work.

We’re ok. Generator is running. Whole area is without power. Checked on the neighbors in our little road. Everyone seems ok. Anyone without a generator is hooked up w someone who does.

Like when we lost power a few weeks ago, it’s fun to come together as a neighborhood.

Thank God for generators...neighbor has one. I just ask for phone charge. Pretty much can handle anything else

Found Kitten. Seems I closed her the dryer last night while she was napping inside on some (formerly) clean socks. Good thing I only beavered one hole in the wall.
