This may have already been done before, but if I don't ask...

I'm interested in chatting with other guys who are curious and wanting to take the plunge, and those who already have had some experiences and especially how they finally took that step.

I'm curious myself but haven't done anything, a little nerves and a little waiting to to find a regular buddy (safe and discrete) for some JO and perhaps later some oral.

I guess some guys want to have experiences but wait and hope someone will come along, some are lucky to have that opportunity fall in their laps, and others who actively seek out another guy. I'm in that second category. A guy I knew socially pretty much approached me.

Whenever you can release yourself from the societal mores that have restrained you.

I would guess that would really depend on when that interest became something you really want to pursue, and whether it was something that the reality matched the fantasy.

That's probably a question that has to be answered individually, depending on individual situations and circumstances...

I agree... I likened it to trying to find a unicorn.
That trusted friend can be someone you just met or could be someone you already know... you would never know unless some hint is dropped to open a door.

Very true. The ones I have met only want to be in total secret, that in n my opinion makes it hard to keep secret. Becoming real friends makes it easier to hide a secret side.

Gotcha. Keeping it discreet can probably work for the short-term. I guess it depends on if you are in a relationship and doing it on the side or if you are totally single and just meeting up for discreet fun. I'm single and not looking for a relationship, so.....
