My gf suffered serious lung damage due to covid. She is basically immunocompromised, as even a small cold leads easily to pneumonia and hospitalization. She's had two hospitalizations already this year.

So I wear a face mask indoors at work. Whether in the shop or in businesses/apartment buildings. I don't have to trust people and I can keep people who matter to me safe.

So imagine how much fun it is when I'm working away in the shop helping customers and somebody feels the need to ask me "Aren't you ungodly hot wearing that propoganda napkin?"

And the worst part is I can't even tell this bottom feeding conspiracy crazy to fuck right the hell off.

As someone who has a crappy immune system and also had to deal with asshole customers earlier in the pandemic, I’m sure it means the world to her. There are few people in this world (parents, ex-BF back when we were living together) I might have expected to slightly inconvenience themselves to protect my life and health, and they all failed me and put me at great risk. The fact that you’re keeping it up is amazing and surely appreciated!
