The eye feels ok. I am still waiting for the cloudiness to clear. I still need to take it easy. I can drive short distances but not on expressways.

Sorry folks but I can't update on nearly 10 days so perhaps treat me as a newbie who knows the rules.
My update is
Holiday-1 Started with Heavy cold
0 drove for 6 hours with numerous breaks to doze
1 still felt awful but good weather so out and dosed up.
2. I am feeling a little better but mum has my cold. I am unpopular
3. I am recovered but heavy rain so stuck in
4. Raining Wife has my cold so I am really unpopular...go fishing
5 Raining Mum is recovering but drops the stitches on her knitting so stops. I am still unpopular stay out of the way and read
6. Asked to pick up mums 52 stitches. Hell I haven't done that for 60 years but just remember. Put it on the needle the wrong way around so unpopular again
7. Lovely day. Dig worms for fishing, pick up stitches the right way around. Take the ladies for coffees so gaining popularity. Allowed to go fishing.
8 Help clean and drive home popularity restored!

So glad to be back in the bar with my friends and a cup of tea.

We have missed you so much......thank God you are all well and you are out of the doghouse with the wife and mum....

Goodmorning everyone
I'm not up to par today. It's going on three weeks with the AC on and my bones ache. Mrs Rj needs the AC for her COPD, and I'm getting a head cold. My anemia prevents me from staying warm. I do get to go grocery shopping, but going from the cold to the hot to the cold, is taking its toll on me. I'm taking ibuprofen and trying to sit away from the AC vents with blankets on.

I recall when I felt obliged to take mom out to dinner only knowing she would start criticizing my sister, her husband, my wife and me. So I get why you are reluctant. Do I miss that? No! I miss the mom when I was a kid and not as an adult.

Hang in there. Your sensitivity to hot and cold is common. You are not alone.

Went to a. Birthday dinner last night and one of the people talking about the shooting said they were sad that he missed.
I got up ordered a $150 bottle of wine and left them with the tab.

Yeah… moms can be complicated. (Some, not all!)

My mom can make my anxiety spike like it’s no ones business….

But she is my mom. So yeah - guilt and anxiety. Perfect together.
