They often compare him to people like Adolf Hitler. CNN"s Jake Tapper has a bad habit of doing it and the New Republic even doctored Trump's image into looking more like the German dictator. Biden's done it, and most Democratic Party politicians have. This is where the left's hate filed rhetoric leads.

Now, of course, we know this is something a lot of you here are cheer-leading over. You'd love nothing more than to see Trump assassinated, but believe me, you really would not like the consequences at this point. For those of you without any knowledge of history, it was events such as this that gave rise to the Spanish Civil War, and we all know how that ended. History doesn't repeat, but it rhymes.

It's time for the Democrats to step back from their hate-filled and violent rhetoric, expunge the offenders from their party, and return to the norms of political discourse and debate.

But we all know they won't.

And we all know where that leads.....

But if the “devoted” had enough intelligence / common sense to think the situation through, they would realize that Trump created the conditions for the shooting:

1) Trump staged an outdoor rally in an extremely high threat environment - both domestically AND globally.

2) Trump contributed to the extremely high threat environment with all his violent rhetoric, his fomenting of civil war, his assassination of Iranian "hero" Qasem Soleimani, and his othering of anybody that isn’t a MAGAt.

3) Trump has amplified the gun culture in America through rhetoric and judicial appointments.

And the “devoted” were complicit.

Rally site is now an ‘active crime scene’​

Reporters at the event were told the rally site at Butler Farm Show had become an “active crime scene”, CNN reported.
One of the network’s reporters said they heard the shots and it sounded as if they had had come from “far away”.
It was not immediately clear where the sounds had originated.
The event is staffed by US Secret Service personnel, as well as local Pennsylvania police.

A Trump supporter said he signaled to police and secret service agents that there was was a man “bear-crawling” on the roof of a building.​

He said he was pointing to the gunman for “two or three minutes” but authorities did not react until after “five shots rang out”.
“He had a rifle” he told the BBC.
“We’re like [telling police he is] ‘right here on the roof, we see him...he’s crawling.’
“I’m thinking to myself, why is Trump still speaking?”

Joe Biden said he was “grateful to hear” Donald Trump was “safe”, saying “there’s no place for this kind of violence in America”.

Obama condemns attack​

Former US President Barack Obama said he and his wife, Michelle, wished Trump a speedy recovery.
Mr Obama condemned the shooting and called for “civility and respect” in US politics.
“There is absolutely no place for political violence in our democracy,” he said.
“Although we don’t yet know exactly what happened, we should all be relieved that former President Trump wasn’t seriously hurt, and use this moment to recommit ourselves to civility and respect in our politics.”

Shooter was outside of venue at Trump rally, multiple law enforcement sources say​

Three law enforcement sources confirm the shooter was outside the venue at former President Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania.
Two of those sources say the shooter was on a roof, outside of the venue. Multiple law enforcement sources have referred to this individual as a sniper, although additional details about that are not clear.
Butler County District Attorney Richard Goldinger said he was told by his chief detective that the shooter was on a building adjacent to the property and had no additional details on the person.
“It would have required a rifle,” he said. “It was several hundred yards.”
 
How long before real news becomes available about the shooter?

Meanwhile fake news fucks everywhere are running their mouths, stoking more hate without any real information.

I don't condone or support political violence of any kind in America. For the record. However, let's be perfectly clear: How often have we heard Trump and his supporters pushing for Democrats to be assassinated or jailed? Even on this board? "You Can't Stop What's Coming" they say. Well, you reap what you sow.
 
On the plus side this may push some fence sitters on downballot races to rethink their intended votes.
