I knew of Neruda as a Chilean Political activist cum Poet who supported murdered Pres. Allende. Delighted to know he also wrote Romantic Verse!!!

Not a famous poet, just a boy who had a thing for me in high-school. He'd leave little gifts & poems on my doorstep for me to find. Cleaning out my home office yesterday, came a cross a little box of love notes that had one of his poems in it, and it made me think of this picture.
