Firstly, Trump makes the USA a laughing stock around the world, it is unbelievable to most that intelligent people voted for him the first time, let alone people will vote for him again.
A man who cares only about himself.
He is a crook, a misogynist, a sexual predator. Guilty of inflaming a riot and loads of other crimes, nearly as old as Biden so his faculties could go in the next 4 years.

Biden, a decent, hardworking man who has given years of service to the USA, but appears to be getting to the age he should be taking it easy. I do not doubt, given time he can still articulate himself and can make the right calls, but for how much longer?

Even so a senile Biden is a far better man and President than Trump!

What I do not understand, and neither do a lot over the pond, is are these two, one an octogenarian the other near enough, the best you have in the USA? Is there not anyone else?

I will sit back and await the Maga backlash, but let me tell you this, there is no conspiracy against Trump, he is just rotten to the core.
There is no deep state, it is a lie made up by Trump to justify himself. The USA judicial system is not against Trump, but is against crooks.

Biden is the incumbent, of course, and incumbents always easily win their party’s nomination for reelection. And considering that the US economy is doing very well, crime is down, and he’s enacted the crackdown at the border, there isn’t any substantive criticism of his performance in office.

I understand he is the incumbent and has done well, also that incumbents always get their party’s nomination. But to me, over the past 12 months his age has really started to show, not that age alone should prevent him running again, but when you have such a nimble liar like Trump, speed of thought and articulation is a must.

I can’t imagine why you’d think Trump is a “nimble” liar. He spouts bizarre nonsense like water through a fire hose. Subtlety and cleverness are not Trumpian traits.

Anybody can counter Trump’s gibberish by simply laughing at him and calling him a moron.

Because we live in an imperfect world.

Because no one who could beat him stepped into the primaries. If there was anyone who could beat Biden.

Because almost half of the people who can vote never do, and most voters only do so once ever two to four years. More than 90% of eligible voters completely ignore the primary. In essence, much of our citizenry has checked out from politics.
