I have run. For various reasons. Not least of which is my annual checkup is in the morning and a blood draw right after a run is not a good time.

(Apparently it leaves you dehydrated, no matter how much you drink after. )

She's does work in linguistic relativity. Interesting stuff. She posted a puzzle to illustrate how different languages deal with numbers. Things like how not all systems use base-10 or don't different individual numbers.

It's making me crazy! (The puzzle. )

And that does not look like the Winnie-the-Pooh! More like a character from the movie Deliverance.

Which, I mean, I couldn't watch that either, but I've seen stills. . . .


There is gratuitous nudity for those that appreciate such.

I, for reasons, have started searching for the, ah, item, mislaid last year. The *ahem* personal-anxiety reducing-device.

Yes. The one I hid last year, could not remember where, and panicked because houseguests were imminent. Found it! (after several weeks and a couple of minor nervous breakdowns) Hid it again, and, now, once again, cannot remember where.

(Why, oh why, am I allowed to wander about on my own. )

So Far:

I’ve searched back in the thread.

Nope, I did not mention the new hiding place. (Serious lack of forethought.)

I did, however, remember that I wanted to research why the US didn’t have a time period tagged as interwar. Found out the personal-anxiety-reducing devices are sold on Amazon (No, really. ). And underwent some thankfully short lived, but serious confusion, thinking some people used air tags on body parts. *seriously confused emoji*

Scrambling though boxes has yielded, so far - my 5” Choos!!! (I’d wondered where they’d got to.).

Tomorrow, the search continues.

I looked for an Indian Jones had and bullwhip emoji to no avail.

I totally bailed!

I might have made 20 minutes.

It was a slasher flick. Pure and simple, with extra gore and little discernible plot.

Which should not have surprised me? It says "independent slasher film" right there in the synopsis. For some bizarre reason I thought it would be less gory than such usual fare because . . . Winnie-the-Pooh?

Piglet used to be my favorite. I even have an old stuffy from childhood.

Which will feature in a prominent position on my next burn pile.

Eesh.
