I'm sure it's different for everyone, but, some reasons spring immediately to mind for me...

1) Beautiful women in porn turns me on. My wife is beautiful. Having a good view of her in action would be great porn. While having sex with her myself, I don't get the full view.
2) The biggest turnon for me is any evidence that a woman is turned on. What better evidence is there than a woman doing something she SHOULDN'T just because she wants it? Temptation is sexy. Giving in to temptation and being "naughty" shows how strong the temptation is.
3) I think somewhere down deep I wonder if my wife has sex with me out of obligation or just to make me happy. That thought is a turn OFF. But, like with #2, what better proof is there that she still has real desires than desiring another guy?
4) It's proof that my wife is still hot enough to get another man if she wanted to... yet, she comes back to me, not because she HAS to, but because she chooses to.
5) I love "spoiling" a woman, especially sexually. I want to be able to give her more than anyone else. Finding a way to be ok giving her another sexual partner feels like I'm spoiling her... giving her something most guys couldn't or wouldn't. A new partner is really exciting... even the little things like holding hands is exciting. With a long relationship that goes away. I'd love to be able to give that to her again. And I'd like to live vicariously through those moments with her.
6) I like having intimate sexy secrets with my wife. I like a little double entendre in front of friends about something we've done together or something she likes. I'd love to be able to make a veiled comment about her lover in front of her friends to make her blush and squirm a little.
7) It's easy to get into a "rut" with someone after many years where you don't try new things, new positions, etc. Adding another person is going to shake that up. And, I'd benefit after the fact... "It was good? Show me what he did. Like this?"

If a guy likes hearing about your "wild days" with old boyfriends, then it's better when, instead of the story starting with "This guy I dated in college..." it starts with "So, yesterday I was out shopping..."

Have you asked him why he wants it?

Maybe all those reasons are why I don't love the humiliation part of things that some guys do.

That resonates on SO many levels for me. It's about loving her, and wanting so much for her.
