Everyone had such interesting responses. It was a toss up between one post with a ton of quotes, a fuck ton of single replys (which I thought would clog the thread), or not responding.
Since i don't usually have time to respond during the conversations I often choose not to post but I like this thread so I kept it nice and long

I think it’s the nature of lit to have @Wriggle men or @Wriggle women or at least to feel like there is. I think I notice this the most when I share a photo but I’m not mentally in the right frame of mind. Usually this is sharing to make myswlf feel better. I am not posting truly for myself. I am needing the outside validation. Then I am vulnerable to how many likes I got or who liked my photo.

Don’t get me wrong the validation can be powerful but posting what makes you feel good is the most important thing.

I typically don’t post on public threads, but I do love sharing in private conversations with people I have already developed some sort of connection with. I don’t know if that is validation. Is it? I never thought of it that way. I get really turned on by it because someone else is. It’s more the exchange of something arousing with the one person I am sharing with, not the likes of a bunch of strangers I don’t know.
