I can’t survive without coffee!!

I mostly follow the Rays but I do subscribe to MLB tv so I can watch any random game. When Vin Scully was still broadcasting, I would tune into a lot of Dodger games.

There's a correct answer!!! My son worked as a batboy for them for 3 years while he was at USF. In fact, he met a man at a game who hooked him up with the company he went to work for after college, and for whom he still works today. So we kinda follow some Rays in this family, too.

Sheriff showed up and told us there was a fast moving fire heading for us
We loaded the truck with essential clothes meds guns ammo and weed

Oh, and the old barrel came out pretty clean after the chemical armageddon I did on its funk. I think that I'll clean eveything else on it and reassemble it and take it shootin'.

I sent off to the barrel company about a barrel for the old gun. They sent me a reply. It was polite, but fucking myself is in my future as for as expectations of them go. There is a shop up the road (MD) that can do all this shit, but I thought I'd get through this cleaning excersize and see if its necessary. If it is, then for a couple grand, they'll build me a match version with new parts and all of these filthy parts I have can become spares. So, it's a thought.

As one who works in “Compliance” I don’t know whether to agree and laugh or take offence

So….I will laugh and move on. Actually I disagree with your compliance team. I take the view compliance advise on the facts/breach and senior management make the “acceptable risk” call. I would relax in your shoes and take comfort in the fact you told them and have your ass covered in writing. I am a great believer in “ass covering”….. in the appropriate context of course ( more Brit innuendo)

I am learning to not take offense.... and I truly understand the process and acceptable risk.. it is maddening though when they blow me off.... and then want to make sure all my docs have the correct punctuation and spelling (they Dodecanese i triple check and also have them proof read before submission). Our compliance officer asked (for someone else in compliance) if so and sos team needed to look at specific documents and review our education process i told her no, they are the same documents they reviewed the last time for the same process with zero changes and we dont need additional review. She said ok and that was that.....

Ass covering is correct. And I have a rule dont offer up info and dont tell lies. I won't tell the feds but I will sing like a canary if anyone asks

I take the view I am paid to give an opinion based on the evidence and applying forty plus years of experience. The fact they might not like what they are told or decide to take another course ain't my problem. I get paid either way….kerching £$

I go home with a clear conscience. Yep, you are right about the truth too. Minute you don’t tell it you lose credibility and that is like virginity as we are on Lit……..you only ever lose it once!
