I have the same problem with my spatula, talk about nasty stuff but I soak it in Dawn, take the torx head screw off and field strip that puppy down to its three basic components; handle, flat flipper and chromed extender arm.

You can hardly find a vintage OXO spatula any longer but they can still be imported for now. I’ve got an order for 27 coming that I got from an auction before the Canadians snatched them all up.

Some were used in Indochina so I might have trouble getting the soy residue off but I think time and Dawn can do it.

It also dawned on me as you got my head thinking in a bigger box that a piece of 3' long and 3" in diameter steel pipe with a pair of threaded caps would also do the trick. Those I could seal and not have to worry about evaporation.

OK, I'm going to ask the stupid question! Do the male flowers and the female flowers grow on the same plant? Or do you have to plant male and female seeds? If so, how do you differentiate the seeds?

Yep, the plant will produce male and female flowers. There are many male ones and fewer female ones tho. Typically each plant will bear one fruit. Occasionally two.

I have never made them..... I found a recipe for a dry rub and essentially you put in a foil package and bake 275 for 4 hrs. Remove foil and put som BBQ sauce on and cool til sticky. Very very good. BuT if you don't like fat on your meat you won't like.... they are fatty...I happen to love it

Good to know. I surgically cut away every visible inkling of fat from meat.

Was short on money one year so made a homemade birthday gift for my brother. Very similar recipe.
He said they were amazing ribs... and he made lots of friends!
(Also part of the point of the gift as he was a freshman in college).

He was a GSD/husky mix

My dad's college roommate and his wife visited our house when I was six. They brought along their dog, Omar. I instantly fell deeply in love with Omar. He was a husky. He spoiled me for all other dogs. Husky remains my favorite breed to this day. I love the big dogs!!

My H had a procedure today that ended up not being completed so he needs it again tomorrow.

I hope tomorrow goes better.
