I’m glad it’s in the rear view mirror, Mick. Not a bad week. Just hectic and busy.

There’s a lot to tackle this weekend, but I think I’m gonna take it easy too. Feel really burned out.

Stacking wood, mowing, want to finish off some stands at my firing range.

Have a light week coming up - I have Juneteenth offa work so we’ll go to the nude beach that day. Took Thursday and Friday off too. Use em before lose em.

A friend of mine is coming out from the Pittsburgh area so we will shoot, clear land, drink, tell the same dumb stories to my wife and daughter, and get to the shore again one day too.

Renting a bulldozer on 6/24 to clear some of our woodland.

When I mentioned Henkel and Wüsthof, they are super high end. I think you can get a Henkel set that are lower grade but still good at most places or am online. Cutco is a good brand too. Maybe too good.

Mid 90s this week... lotion everything...

Our 90F and 80 % humidity days start Monday. A beautiful day today. I’m planning to enjoy the evening at a cookout with my friends.

Of course I also have a graduation party around lunch for my favorite young lad who is the son of my late wife’s brother. So I will see many of her family. Too many genuine “ how you doing?” . I get tired of lying like all is ok. Thank God my GF understands.

So, about this whole skull thing. I'm thinking that you use the eyeholes for a handle? That the brain part won't leak? As long as we can get the rims down to where they're thin enough that we don't waste valuable coffee pouring it down our fronts.

That unfortunate end happened to St Sviatislav… the Pecheneg khan killed him in battle and made a drinking stein out of his skull!

Smokey and Panther. Fred live Out West, and is not a boy cat. Fred got named before Fred got examined. We figured that Fred was smart enough to have learned her name and that she wouldn't care. She doesn't.

Ahh ..I have named boy cats girls and girl cats boys names.....Fred is chill.... I like the name panther...brings to mind a sleek black cat that prowl the jungle...err house looking for mice

Training the dogs last night.

Sit them in a group and back off 10 yds, call one up and sit him. Others sit tight in the group. Back off another 10, call another dog and so on.

The dogs have to learn several things, don’t move until your name is called, don’t follow each other. If one of your pals runs past you keep your butt on the ground.

The most pleasing thing is the dog furthest away is the 8 month old pup and he got it first time. He is going to be some dog in the field!

The landlady would screw that all up for you by bending and putting her hands on her knees and yelling, "PUPPIES!!!!!"


They are very handsome critters.


A black cat just raced through here too fast not to bounce into things, but he didn't. I could hear his claws scritching for traction. The best part? It was my black cat. At least strange cats aren't racing around my house.


Kitten finished killing her bug. I know where Kitten is. I don't know where the bug is . . . .

It is yummy in a tummy......

I wanked about yesterday and didn't a/c, and that has to happen today because it's too damned hot for fans to stay ahead of. And the humidity is climbing.
