I bought cutco knives and I hate them...cut myself everytime I use them

Are they sharp or dull? Cutting yourself with a dull knife can lead to really bad wounds (cuz you’re cutting really hard).

If they’re sharp, just go easy. Years ago, I was a cook and learned a lot about cutlery, how to use them safely and how to sharpen them. Id Show ya if I could.

(That TOTALLY doesn’t sound right… but hopefully you get the idea! )

Apologies to OM but had to post this. Lili’s recipe substituting half the nuts for currants. Looks and smells amazing so see what it tastes like!

Thank you for your concern. I stay busy as best as I can when she is away. We text and call. And yes the taxi ride with was great. I also had lunch with friends .

K-bar ain’t such a good kitchen knife.

I bought a good set of Heinkels in the 80s and still have em. Wustoff is another good brand. They’re both high end.

Cutco are pretty good too.

I honestly haven’t bought knives in ages so I’m not sure about any other brands. I think a google search w get ya there.

In other news, the chickens got to go out to play in the pasture today. Because it's all new, there was exploring. The one with a white butt is Uno, and she's the bravest. One of the others went out and about - that's Dos. The chicken chicken is Tres. There was another egg this morning. The landlady thinks she needs to keep them in the coop for a couple more days before doing that again. She also needs to build a run.

Murder cat is what they call her on the street....she has street cred.

There is the one horse she attacked. He was pretty pissed when that happened.

They are sharp as shit..... I was cutting an apple and the blade touched my thumb and split it open.... I know better than cutting toward me..... but dang
