If (when) something like this happens again, see if your Dr has samples to give you to hold you over. Also, ask if the office can contact your insurance. There's just no excuse for this.

I get around pretty well now but with both knees replaced already? ADA definitely in my future.
Did this when I cat sat for someone 40 years ago. "We have 5 cats but you'll only ever see 4." I was chilling w/ the cats a week later when they came home. And cat #5 was purring away in my lap with all the others nearby. They were astonished! Just took quiet, patience, and perseverance. Kitty engaged when I was no longer a threat and she was ready.
My Rx was not for anything life threatening. I hope they do better w/ those. Just annoying that a medication where results are seen in @ 6 weeks was delayed by 4 weeks.Jeez… you’d think with a potentially life threatening illness or condition they’d fill the rx and work it out afterwards….
But of course, not… They’re too busy getting rich…
