Have to say I love my entailing alliance...
I will bet you that you can find a YouTube video…Oh, and Wat can be a touch short on patience as well.
I have a broken piece of op rod spring to remove from the 80YO op rod, and I need not to fuck it up. The book doesn't have much detail on how to do it. Good news is, the spring is broken, so it's a casualty already. It's the rod Wat needs to be good to.
I know it’s not Sunday, but I’m craving pancakes, and lots of coffee of courses.Breakfast time. Enjoy everyone!
Good morningThat's pretty chilly, B2! Still cold this morning?
FantasticAwesome! How was it? I'd love to see him!![]()
Hhmm you did. It's 0213 and it looks like I have successfully eluded both B2 and G! I'm off to bed! Have a wonderful Wednesday, everyone!![]()
She is a keeperAnother busy day planned in corporate Zombieland.
730 meeting, so I’m up a little earlier than normal. Bad dreams around 4 didn’t help. Working thru it with a workout (and catching up on lit… Jesus this thread moves at the speed of light)
Mowing the front lawn tonight after dinner.
Going to get warmer, and we’re planning our annual visit to the nude beach in New Jersey next week.
God how I love Mrs. Wonderer!! Over the weekend I got a flat tire on my tractor. I was going to fix it this coming weekend, it’s an old-school tubed tire. It could be an original tire , but I just hate taking the tire off the bead, removing the innertube, looking for and sanding any sharp rust spots on the rim… putting on the new innertube and aligning it just right, getting the tractor tire back on the bead… it’s a fucking process…
I am not known for my patience!!
Mrs wonderer, removed the tire yesterday, took it down to a local tractor place. Saved me a couple of hours of swearing and cussing. All for only $60.
I’ll take that deal any day of the week!! She’s a fuckinkeepertreasure!!!

Aww.... your mom is awesome!!!To everyone, Good ……..(add your own greeting according to time zone)
It’s a day at the computer for me and recovery from 6 hours driving yesterday. Great day celebrating my mums 89 birthday. Then after lunch I offer to take her for a walk around the block with my brother. Get out of the door and she takes us on a 2 1/2 mile hike into the country and back home! Some woman who complains only that she is a little slow![]()
I love these. Would totally live in oneI saw one of those on v shows where someone made a home out of an old silo.
It was cool.
I’m a big fan of repurposing things rather than building new.
Its the little things isnt it. Who needs bs flowers and candy....this is romanceAnother busy day planned in corporate Zombieland.

She is ...independent as hell. Apart from being helped across a road as she is almost blind she is an amazing independent woman. Even shooooed me out of the kitchen for trying to make a cup of my pissy tea! Told me she was perfectly capable of doing it herself!Aww.... your mom is awesome!!!
That and cool custom homes were homes made out of repurposing older things are totally fucking cool.I love these. Would totally live in one

We used to call it “junk” and only used it when we couldn’t afford the new stuff. Had my grandmothers 1950 washing machine when we married in 1979. Just stuck a 6” nail in the back to tension the drive belt. Never fitted the top mangle that would have had your hand through it at the same time as the clothes! Now that would be super cool. That and cool custom homes were homes made out of repurposing older things are totally fucking cool.
Good luck Wat…Hope it pans out!Okay, so I went back and looked at the ad for the position I have the phone interview for this morning. Turns out, it's not far from the house and it's in the little niche sector of the business that I've been working in since the aughts. All of a sudden, my attitude and outlook have perked up. Yeah, if they come through with something, this could be a concept we could get behind.
So we'll see . . . .
Let’s hope you don’t get a case of “Garand thumb”You're right!!! Fortunately, this isn't the dangerous spring. That one lives inside the bolt assembly, and they make a tool to hold it while you disassemble it. I bought the tool. The bolt assembly is soaking, but I likely want to take it apart and do it up right. Good news is, All of this is small stuff so I'm wearing my dollar store readers to do it. I hate safety glasses, and glasses in general, as a rule, but fine work forces me to wear these.
Somewhere, somebody must make safety glasses that don't suck nationwide.
U gotta be careful with the Garand; we shot them at funerals for vets.Let’s hope you don’t get a case of “Garand thumb”
I hate to admit I’ve never fired my Garand. I’m actually not even sure if it’s 7.62x51 or 30-06. It’s a 1954, Baretta made one, and it was just around that time they were standardizing nato ammo.
Anywayzzzzz. Back to your regular programming.
Good luck Wat…Hope it pans out!
