The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Hmmm, maybe. Fred is one of the smartest cats I have ever known. In fact, the more cats I spend time with, the smarter I think the entire species is. Dogs, too, as a general rule. And I was told that horses are stupid, but theirs is a more gentle approach to things. Good thing, big as they are. You do have to remember that when dealing with them.
I think horses are very smart!

I give a healthy amount of respect for stinging insects. I'm allergic to all. Even mosquitoes. I have an itchy raised bump on my knee that is probably from one flying up my pants.

Bees, hornets, wasps, etc., get the Epi pen and call 911. 😱
I'm in the same club... although certain blends of essential oil were the tipping point for my carrying the pens everywhere

Don't be sad, I'm anemic....it's just the way I am...
Ah - anemia. That'll do it.
Still, seems unfair. You do your part to get good sleep. Seems only fair to be rewarded with a full battery when you get up. 🤷‍♀️

I can muster my day awake for about 6 good hours, after that it's lots of coffee
and watch my driving because I can fall asleep at the wheel.

I find that people have different kinds of intelligences, some of which we measure well and some we don't. There are still differences, but perhaps not a widely as it first appears
I agree... there is book smart people smart social smart street smart....there are very few truly dumb people.... there are even people that are smart because they have to be to survive... think Marlowe hierarchy. They r smart in ways to survive, but aren't socially acceptable decisions

Had an amazing day.

My friend had a debilitating degenerative illness, MS. But, he was up for some company. I worked it out w his wife and son and we surprised him, including our buddy who now lives in AZ and has been in town for a few days.

Well… we spent 7 hrs there, laughing, eating and drinking, telling stories like it was the old days. It was nothing short of amazing.

Just an amazingly great day.

I was actually a little giddy tonite. The whole day surpassed my expectations. There is nothing like great friends. The visit did him well. I have not seen him this happy and engaged in several years.

Catching up...
Got my nap in today!
Lazy day of reading and a bit online, but mostly reading
Starting 2 new books - one e, one print... hoping not to irritate the dry eye too much w/ the print

The Filthiest Song in the World - Rattlebrain Productions (parody)

I've a sister who hasn't eaten a single hot dog since oldest brother told her the story of "how hot dogs are made". :ROFLMAO:

Love this!!! Hope you all have a good time!! Bringing the party to your friend with MS - Outstanding!! 😍😍😍

Sounds like you were long overdue for that indulgence! Should have company visit more often.

Oh, yum!! So delicious!

Fuck me running... that explains a lot.
(sorry - had to get rid of that pic. Once was enough for me. LOL *shudders*)

Who else needs a Permission Slip to skip Lit?
IRL first - you can look all this Lit stuff up later IMO.

Do it!!

I've found most animals to be smarter than given credit for - although there are a few exceptions. Always are, right?

Is that what it's called? Thought I was just being skittish. 😏

Are you keeping this criteria in mind when out looking at horses, Wat? Asking for some friends... 😁
🙋🏻‍♀️ I need a permission slip! Will you please tell my OCD it's OK to leave it? 😅🤣😆
