True story. I can't handle coconut. I can't stand the taste or the aroma or the texture.
The first time I had Thanksgiving with the in-laws, they served a version of ambrosia. They called it fruit salad.
One taste and I politely declined it.
We still serve it years later, but best believe either mine is separate or I don't eat it.

Same with my son. He can't carry a tune in a bucket, but (like his mama) starts singing when a word or phrase in the conversation triggers it.Hearing my oldest on the phone melts me.
