Home. We had our boys' get-together and then we went for Mexican. I have leftovers for the big brown Labrador-and-retriever. Tomorrow. Stopped at Wally's to score some more starter fluid and a couple of bags of apples for the pasture poodles. There are two tri-colored girls in here - mine and the other one. Mine is on the bed. The other learned about that last night.

The girl Lab loves this human. She's the alpha, but she lets the boy thinks he's running the show. She was available before turning one for killing chickens and for chasing cows. Neither is good farm behavior. The landlady has no chickens and no cows. She does have a wee pond and the girl - Daisy - loves it.


The landlady was told by the former human, "she's a Labrador and a retriever!!!" We still get a kick out of that and we share it with Daisy, too. She was her tail.


What doesn't come across in pictures is how huge she is. Solid as a rock, maybe 110#. She's not as tall as Beau is, but she's half again as wide. When they are outside being big goofs in the yard, I've seen her bowl him over. She's built like a prototypical nose tackle.


I feed her from the table, so she loves when I'm around.

I love how good you are to your animals, Wat! My girl always expects something from the table, too!

I grew up when artist went on tour to sell their albums. An album would often cost more than a general admission ticket. With music being at least part of the main topic I was wondering if many of you frequent shows? It has been a while for me.

It's been a while for me, as well. I saw quite a few artists when I was young.

Aww sweet baby....here is a pic of my sweet ivan...we had to put him down. He had inoperable cancer..he was 8. He weighed 120 lbs.... he was a tank but the sweetest best trained boy ever. I miss him
