This is Horse Country.


As it turned out, we didn't go to look at the draught girls. Too much stuff to do and a lovely storm to boot. The cable guy came, and now there's (theirs ) a mattress coming and the old one going. She replaces hers every 10 years, so by that measure, I'm a few years past due. That part was important - the old girls a bit less so. Maybe we figure something out tomorrow and/or Thursday. If we miss them, more will appear.


I'd really like for another Calypso to wander into my life . . . .
