The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

So, Wat and the landlady have 2 Ford 8N tractors. The first one came with a John Deere b000sh hawg attachment. We have what we call The South 40 which needs hawged. Anyway, I used the first one once and got just about done and realized that I had just about no oil pressure. So, it got parked. I bought a second one (with good oil pressure) last Spring and that's the one I hauled up yesterday. Bought it a batt'reh and it cranks right up. Dragged the old tractor out from its corner in the horse house and took(en) the hawg off'n it. I had never mess with a Ferguson hitch before. It didn't kick my ass, but I reckon there's a slightly easier way. Got it hooked up regardless. Took it across the road and went after The South 40. Maybe 30 minutes worth. It dawned on me that I should double-check the hydraulic fluid before tangling with too much more of it.

I'm thinking that we take 2 tractors and make 1 good one out of them.
So, how are these two losing oil pressure and hydraulic fluid?!?

Well the local news was unexpected: an attorney attempts break in wearing latex gloves and has a backpack with hand gun, duct tape, rope and black hood!!!!

Also lots of storms in the afternoon just when I need to pick up my gradndaughter.

84F today and the temp drops by 30 degrees.

I understand.

Burn one for me . . . .

It feels like we didn't get all that much done, but we dragged the rugs and mats outside and pressure washed them, hung them to dry, got a battery for the tractor and installed it, unloaded it, dragged out the old tractor, changed the attachment - which was first time ever doing that, and we didn't break anything - got some b000sh hawgin' in, dragged the rugs back in and placed them, found the missing battery charger . . . I guess we got some shit done after all.

I brought the s'ghetti sauce for supper.
I'm exhausted just reading what you got done, Wat! 😆😆

150 gr M2 ball ammo only!

Sellier and Bellot. On sale. Small shipment, won't last, and now his small shipment is one case shorter. The Prvi Partizan is a regular stock item. Of course, I still have an old can of USGI, made in '68, IIRC. If I manage to win the bid on the WRA, I'd like to build that one. THen I'll need the empty brass to load for it.

My bad. Will set the auto barista to respond when someone comes in while I am sleeping. 😂

Good morning OM. Yes coffee first.

And I see Lilli had no problem with sleeping 😁
I was down for the count last night. I'm trying to catch up, but it's a losing battle for me tonight! I'm headed for bed. Good night, everyone! 🥱😴💤

Good luck with that. Now I can reduce image size, well sort of, I will put pictures of some of my guns up although they are shotguns.
GL (and @Wat_Tyler )

You guys may like this one. It’s a 1913 Lee Enfield Mk3. Smoothest bolt action rifle I own. Most certainly saw action in World War I and probably World War II.

The volley sight is up. They used to use that for long range indirect fire over trenches.

My dad bought it for $45 in the 1960s.
