Must be something in the ether. I was weed whacking and ran right into a rusty fence I’ve turned into a tomato trellis. Just a scratch but if I had a nickel for every time I’ve hit something looking down whacking (stop it you pervs!) I’d be rich.

Just a scratch it is one minute and then the next……I tripped on some wire hidden in grass before Christmas and thought I had just whacked my knee. Christmas Day I am in A&E as can’t walk and serious infection. Must have got barbed wire in it. Fortunately antibiotics sorted it but still have a 2” scar for what I thought was a wee scratch!

Some Sunday morning listening from arguably two of the purest voices ever to sing a note. When CSN and CSN&Y would take breaks, Graham and David collaborated on side projects and Stephen and Neil would do side projects together amongst all their solo stuff. For my money, Graham and David just have that certain magic.

At the end of this song they riff a harmony. These were spontaneous according to an interview Graham did for the box set I own. You can tell by the look they give each other at the end….see if you can spot it!

Had a similar situation last year. But it didn’t happen to me, to happen to my lawn tractor.

I was at our farm clearing a new area when suddenly I heard CLANG and the motor cut right out.

I looked under the mower deck, and there were some heavy gauge wire fence that got twisted all up in the blades. My blades were absolutely fucked. Long story short, I had to lift the whole machine up with my tractor, and cut the wire out with heavy duty wire cutters. It was a shit show.

I guess, it was just buried for years and years, and i happened to hit some of it…

Sorry that you got hurt greylag. Not trying to overshadow your story. Just hidden metal can be really bad - even deadly…. Be careful out there!
