Hi all.. woke up with a belly ache. Food is not my friend. Trying not to think about returning to work tomorrow

Hope you feel better. My insides were mildly grumpy driving home the other day, but nothing serious. It's hard not to notice a tummy ache.

Granddad was in the hot part - Phillipines and Okinawa. He was on Japan after the surrender for a few weeks. It's been nice looking over to see his Major desk plaque. The old cat has kept it company. I have his captain's tunic upstairs . . . if the moths haven't carried it off.

My wife spends her first Memorial Day in Riverside National Cemetery. I cannot wait to join her. I will never find that unconditional love again.

Have caught up on all your threads and hope that you spent memorial day as you each would have wished. I never served and the few snippets my elder family members told me I am glad I have been blessed that way.

It’s a start at the desk for me now dealing with the I know is but expecting just that I didn’t know was until I sniffed it.
