Had a great day. Took a 1/2 mental health day but still worked this morning.

Met my best friend for lunch who has been decimated by MS. Had a great long lunch w him. Hadn’t seen him in several months so that was awesome. (Washington diner, OM).

Then went to the farm, shot up some targets and cans. (Killed Putin)

Moved the rest of the firewood and rototilled our pumpkin patch.

was a good day.

I love those kind of places... full of nostalgia and happy memories.

We've moved a few times since I was young. Most of those places are long gone but the ones that may still be around are now 1-2 days drive away.

Still have the memories though!

Every day is a little better. Doc said recovery is on track and will see me for post-op in a couple weeks. And the love affair with my cold pack continues.

Allergies keep me from having my own pets. I need to get my fix somehow!! All are welcome in my eyes.

So glad you're both turning the corner! Once his mouth heals up, he will be a brand new dog!

Keep using the cold pack. And rest as much as possible.
