The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

We should all individually call and give him her address.🤭

We should go over there, collect his ass, ask him what his major malfunction is, and then deliver him to her house, cross our arms, scowl, pat our feet and stand there until her house is like a meat locker.

Don't tell me that Wat don't know howta get shit done.

Anyway, home. Gonna n000k something fer supper. May just be beans. Those are good for simplicity sometimes. It's nice to have choices and not to have to eat out. The PM took us to lunch today and I had indiscretion all afternoon. Meh.

NOOOoooooooooooo!
Protect the queen! Protect the queen!
🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️
Here... have a 🪲... and a... um, a 🕷️
Now go away! Bad, Wat, bad!!

She's not all that interested in what I'm eating anyway. Sometimes she'll want a taste, and that usually makes her happy. The other tortie has sworn off human food and doesn't even bother with canned. She does the kibble.

Family of Choice
Decades ago (before the Age of Allergies) I had 2 kitties. They were siblings in the household, too. Not related in any way except by choice (mine, but still).

These two and the other two are one big goofy pride o' cats. They are all rescues. The Old cat was adopted. The short-hared girl appeared in the barn and was brought in. The kitten was a throw-away from her first home. The other boy appeared on my front porch and I started to feed him, and as it became fall, I let him in.

I'll have to post the boys . . . .

It's okay, OM. I found a great college couple. She fell in love with my black girl cat and he fell in love with my black and white boy cat... so they adopted them both together.

They gave me email updates for several months which was above and beyond and very sweet of them!

So they both lived Happily Ever After
(just not with me 🤷‍♀️ )

Please do!
Mine were both rescues of a sort. Obtained from individuals in a difficult spot, not from a rescue org. I had 8 wonderful years with them before I had to adopt them out to a new home due to uncontrolled allergies. 😥 🤧

That sucks. I got my old boy and his other half because their humans lost their house. She died 4.5 years ago but he's still chugging along at 17. The big girl is 3 and the other 2 are 2. I think. With foundlings, one is never quite sure. I usually pick the holiday closest to when I think they were born and call that their birthday. Except the old one. His b-day is January 23.

I'm glad you were able to remove them with someone that thought enough of your loss to at least update you on there lives. And I understand it had to be a hard decision that needed to be made but you made the right choice.🤗

Wow! It's nice that the Prime Minister took you out to lunch...🤭

Had a great day. Took a 1/2 mental health day but still worked this morning.

Met my best friend for lunch who has been decimated by MS. Had a great long lunch w him. Hadn’t seen him in several months so that was awesome. (Washington diner, OM).

Then went to the farm, shot up some targets and cans. (Killed Putin)

Moved the rest of the firewood and rototilled our pumpkin patch.

was a good day.
