Yes. A debate is a perfect stage for his “petulant 4-year-old” act. He calls people names, tells ridiculous lies, and interrupts when adults are speaking.

I'll believe Donald Trump will do a debate when I see him walk out on the stage. Until then, I won't worry. Biden would be speaking accomplished and proposed programs to benefit and the most and Donald Trump will be speaking fantasy and Trump grievances. We all know that dog and pony show already.

The bottom line is if true Americans go to the polls, Trump and his disgusting minions can't win.

Anything to raise his profile, lend him legitimacy in the public eye as 'a very important person', to grandstand?

The first thing I noticed was that Trump sounded alert and articulate, and that Biden did not. The next thing I noticed was that Trump frequently ignored the question, and repeated one of his talking points. This is where the moderators should have silenced Trump's microphone long enough to order, "Answer the question."

I have liked Biden for a long time, and I will vote for him, but I wish he was not running. Early in his first term Biden should have announced he would not seek a second term. This would have given some other Democrat the opportunity to rise from the crowd. I am afraid it is too late for that now.

The thought of a second term for Trump terrifies me.

It was clear that Trump had practiced debating for four years. He repeated the same four-year-old lies ad nauseam to appeal to his base. However, for undecided voters looking for information on his policies, he failed to provide any new insights. More than 80% of the time, he ignored the moderator's questions and instead focused on attacking Joe Biden. Many viewers found his behavior not just annoying but also a display of arrogance. This display even irritated some loyal Republicans.

Biden could have fared better, too. He walked on stage looking tired, and his first words were hoarse and strained. He lost his train of thought in one gaffe and didn't finish the thought. Tonight, the alert and fiery Irishman image of the State of the Union speech was absent.

The CNN staff went ape-shit over his performance. It was on par with other comments he made on television. It is impossible to 'debate' with a narcissistic pathological liar. All you can do, as Joe did, is call him a liar when you only have one minute to refute Trump's myriad of lies. The CNN fact-checker counted over thirty lies for Trump; Biden registered five mistakes in numbers, primarily–not on content.

The crucial question of the night is, will the performances of either candidate sway the opinions of undecided voters and potentially tip the scales of the election?
