Favorite vegetables - roasted carrots, parsnips, small potatoes, and raddishes. Love

The lower one is a peach and the upper one is apple. The crust is homemade.

I like all those veggies, B2. There's really not many I won't eat.

I love turnips and tomatoes in a vegetable soup. Someone else can cook eggplant. And cilantro tastes like soap.

It does taste like soap to some; I think there's an enzyme in your saliva that does this. I love cilantro!

My sister said she wouldn't have liked them the way they were cooked when mom was a kid. I don't recall how, but my sister was a fan of broiling.
I shave them and then use olive oil - plain or infused - and then either eat plain or use them as a topping for pizza or a toasted sandwich. Mmm

My mom boiled TF out of them so I didn't like them. When I learned about roasting them, it was a game changer for me!

That's a pretty typical cat thing. I'm always surprised to see videos of cats that like the hose being used on them (not like that, Sin )

My dad used to nickname all the cars. Some of my siblings have continued that tradition in their own households. Dad would nickname almost anyone or anything. Such a character!

yes! I make my own white sauce from a roux. Put just a pinch of nutmeg in it!

Your veggie toppings sound SO freaking good! I will have to try it. I've recently learned how to make pizza. I make a no-knead crust that is yummy!

Petunia, Morticia, Zelda, Fred . . . . They have names. Things have gotten named for most of my life. Critters rarely were called by their given names and usually had nicknames.

If my memory is not failing me, you are supposed to have cowboys and truckers, not lumberjacks! Though lumberjacks are probably much more fit

Gold diggers are an expected group to show up anywhere on Lit, and over 50 folks on everage have more gold to be dug than the 20+ crowd.
