Help! My series is all messed up!

I deleted the automatic series created by the site because it messed up the title and figured I could just re-do it myself. But now when I go to create the new series, there's doubles of all the stories and it's saying "not found" when I click to add them. What in god's name is going on and how to get rid of the doubles?

It's such a classic database referential integrity issue. Definitly only @Manu can fix it. He probably knows about it already, but might be worth sending him a PM. He had a thread somewhere soliciting bug feedback when it was rolled out, but I tend to ignore his threads because there's very little sexual content.

You can remove the doubled up Series entries, using the manual Series function. You have to delete both the correct one and the cocked up one, and start all over again. I fixed two cock-ups when the Series function was released. It took a couple of goes to figure out how it all worked, but I got there in the end. I split the series in two, with new titles - that made it easier to compile correctly. Tedious, but worth it.

And I'm sure Manu is a very sexy guy, he's just got an unsexy avatar .

Glad you were able to find a way around it. I'm still struggling. I deleted the series completely, but when I'm in "Manage Works" there are still doubles. When I try to remove them, it says they are removed, but they are not. They're still there. Honestly I love the stories on this site but I really don't understand why doing anything on here is difficult to the point of absurdity. Are the people who run this website actively trying to make it impossible to use?
