Happy Thursday!!! Not sure what we'll have at work today, but we're pretty sure what we won't have. Maybe a few wire butchers, HVAC clunks, and tile guys. We may have another delivery of tile, too. We'll see.

I really expected this cold to clear up by now, but it's getting worse. My nose is running constantly and post nasal drip bringing on horrid coughing fits.

I'm so sorry, Hilton! Hot shower for you! Antihistamines, decongestants, lots of fluids. Try to rinse out your nose with warm, not hot, water. It will help mobilize the mucous and wash out viruses.

Just walked into to my little slice of paradise…. I don’t want to be a responsible adult anymore

Try retirement! Although there is still a bit of adulting involved, it's not nearly as much!

My wife is exactly the same way. She’s always bringing home small little tree sapling that she finds on her jobs.

Last year, a friend gave us two saplings that were in American chestnut and japanese chestnut hybrid. They’re trying to bring back the American chestnut which has been completely blighted.

I’ll have to take some pictures when I come back from work.

She has the skillz to help them grow!

I often use lines like this. I also live sometimes like this.

I was in a meeting on Tuesday with a pretty senior person. We needed some actuarial expertise (think super math) this project, I told him: “ I’m not an actuary, but I play on TV.”

My boss burst out laughing, but the other person failed to see the humor.

So, so serious!

Thanks for all the advice, but I've been doing so much and taking so many pills and supplements all week and it's only got worse, it seems to be uphrading now to more than just a cold, so I have called work to say I'm not coming in, and I'll phone the doctors rooms for an appointment as soon as they open.
