Been lingering on the periphery of this thread for a while and thought I would wade in and say “Hi from Scotland”. On the side of the hill the gales batter us from time to time and have been relentless this winter but nothing like the weather extremes you guys get over the water. Just glad to hear everyone is safe!

The contractor who built our house had a woman on his crew. She was amazing and very skilled.

They exist, they pay attention, and they have skills - all as a general rule. I figure that the average woman is smarter than the average man.


Happy Thursday!!! Not sure what we'll have at work today, but we're pretty sure what we won't have. Maybe a few wire butchers, HVAC clunks, and tile guys. We may have another delivery of tile, too. We'll see.

10-day forecast shows chance for storms continuing through next week. At least I’m not in the middle of the recent tornado activity.

The tornadoes have been bad. Even the straight winds did lots of damage in the Great Lakes State.
