It's now April 2024 and the Strategic Reserve is EMPTY and cannot be used to artificially prop up oil production to meet demand any longer.

Which is why prices at the pump are once again at their all time high. Just like they were before Biden opened the spigot at the Strategic Reserve.


OTOH, if Biden would allow new leases and the Keystone pipeline to go forward again, we might see a reduction in gas prices as more oil becomes available.

You know, just like what was going on under Trump's Presidency. When we weren't dependent on the middle east for our energy needs.

It’s just a dumb conclusion. We’ll never produce enough, and OPEC will always hold the puppet strings. We ALWAYS will be dependent on foreign oil prices. It’s a worldwide commodity. Period. We don’t set the price, ever.

And yet under Trump's energy policies we were the world's No. 1 producer of energy and costs were low. Meanwhile, under Dark Brandon we're dependent on OPEC and suffer rising prices.

Seems like a conclusion based on facts and not outdated headlines to me. Not so much for your side of the discussion.

That could be a concern except that the battery packs are typically 56 volts.

You can safely touch 56 volt battery terminals with a bare hand. 😉 In my extensive experience with many battery technologies I can’t feel anything by touching DC power until > 70v, even then it’s more of a tingle than a shock until around ~ 80vdc.

The US is the world’s biggest oil producer and has been for several years. We’re winning! 😅

The trouble is we’re also the world’s biggest consumer.

Someone doesn't understand that VOLTS alone won't kill you. AMPS however are sneaky fucks. They hang around with electrons, which are free radicals and untrustworthy as all hell.

BTW, this is part of an off grid solar power system that is used to charge up to 180 miles/day for Tesla EVs while the sun is shining and still has enough for powering a home at night.
