Well let’s just use one example of feckless foreign policy. What if 1 1/2 years ago Biden strapped on a pair and dispatched to Ukraine a brigade size element of Bradley’s and M1a2s complimented by a couple of squadrons of F-16s, go all in and make Russia pay. Along with other artillery, missile systems, anti tank and anti aircraft weapons systems the complexion of this war would be drastically different.

If he’d gone all in on Ukraine as you suggest above, which would have required mucho US boots on the ground for training/maintenance/resupply logistics, you’d be screaming about how he’s starting WW3.

Had they been furnished with combined arms capability ( air land battle concept ) early in the conflict, air superiority and armor working together the Russians would have been decimated and suing for peace, but Biden dragged his feet and because of his feckless policy has extended the war, possibly lost it for Ukraine. I'm not sure if Ukraine received the F-16s as of yet.

The president is responsible for how the taxpayer's money is spent. History is now telling us that Trump was dead on. Hunter working for Barisma was a conflict of interest, not only did it have the appearance of impropriety, but it was corrupt and Joe was right in the middle pulling the strings. We could have sent in planes and tanks while Russian forces were stranded by the side of the road on their way to Kyiv. But training, maintenance and resupply would have been required and that would have meant US forces in Ukraine that early. Or maybe you’re talking about drones piloted by US pilots from their bunkers in Nevada and I’m sure that would have gone over well with Putin

IMHO Trump was wrong and so was Biden. We should have never left, Afghanistan was a strategic asset in so many ways, politically, militarily and economically . We had Iran surrounded along with over the horizon intelligence capabilities.
I believe we had advisors in Ukraine right from the beginning. Before equipment is issued training takes place out of country on complex equipment then after the initial training is completed it becomes train the trainer. The strength of our military is the emphasis we put on maintenance, fix forward concept, We learned that from the Israelis. Effective maintenance is a combat multiplier.
Having served in the military what Vindman did was a breach of loyalty and trust to his boss. He failed to follow the chain of command. Adam Schiff’s did some pretty underhanded things. I would have felt the same way towards Vindman had he did that to Biden.
Well, Biden was playing a balancing game. Direct military intervention in Ukraine- American troops on the ground, American planes in the air, would likely have ignited WW3. Russia would have been forced to respond directly to the U.S. with military force. We would be dealing with Russian troops in Alaska, Russian missiles landing in California, and so on. Ukraine might have survived, but the collateral damage, to the U.S, Russia and possibly the rest of the world, would have been far greater. So, propping up Ukraine, keeping Russia occupied and tied down, in the hopes of not only curbing Putin's expansionist aims in Ukraine but keeping him from being tempted to spread to other Eastern European countries, was the conservative strategy but probably the safest one.
