I think that as the world gets smaller we should club together. It might get rid of the differing rivalries that we have. But, everyone loves it when England beat Scotland at any sport. Including throwing telegraph poles at each otger.

I thought they were Scottish until they won something and then they became British . Although I think if we knew that Judy was part of the Andy Murray package, we might not have claimed him so quickly

I don’t think that will ever change. Although I do feel that Scots have more of an issue than the English. I’ve lived in the South for about 20 years and if it was the other way around I’d have most probably had a harder time. Which isn’t nice.

There is indeed! Similar sized economy and population to Scotland and a growing independence party. Not that it will ever gain traction I think. Folk here just like to get on with our lives and not make too much fuss. Call a spade a spade... or to use a Yorkshire phrase; " call a spade a fucking shovel"
