Anyone from the UK?

I’ve never listened to an audiobook. I buy most of my books from the charity shop. There’s a really good one near me and they always have lots of books.
I don't have the concentration to sit and read anymore. It was really getting me down cos I've always been a bookworm. So listening while I'm farting about doing other things has been a great way to get back into it

I think it’s fair that to be a snob on anything probably isn’t the most graceful look.

However, if I may, I think we all agree on one thing.

Croques with socks. No. Croques period - also no.

I am definitely a shoe snob. By that I mean boots. Leather, decent heel, zips to the sides.

i did wear flip flops when walking down a street once... admittedly, i was in Brasil at the time and we were near a beach.

I prefer walking boots. stompy ones that i will, invariably, wreck in a year or so.

never sandals. ever.

My friends swear by them 😍
I just picked up an Ian Rankin (non Rebus) I’m looking forward to reading it. I bought a reading chair for my dressing room (spare room, nursery size) so I can read in peace ❤️

i have trouble concentrating during online meetings, so not sure i could do an audiobook... plus, i'd end up getting distracted by their accent or something silly.

one good thing about trekking across town to work is reading on the tube.

My wife like to read and will go through 2 or 3 books on holidays, I struggle with reading, always have but have managed to read Lord of the Rings series and Game of Thrones

I've got a pair of Caterpillar boots that must be 25 years old now

Just had a quick scroll through the last couple of pages

Music - if you say you like something just to try and make somebody else like you, then this is the song for you

Books - I like Martina Cole, Jessie Keane and Kimberley Chambers because they call a cunt a cunt.

Somebody bought me the second Richard Osman book for Christmas so I bought the first one as I thought I should read them in order. I haven’t started it yet because I am not sure they are what I will like.
