From my go-to ammo supplier:
We have become aware of another round or price increases from the ammo factories, and many popular items will be effected very soon. The Kinetic group (AKA Vista & the brands CCI, Speer, Federal and Remington) has announced a May 1st price increase on all handgun ammo, and they are the factory that leads the market up and down due to their massive production capacity and portfolio of iconic American made ammunition brands. Ammo Inc also sent out a price increase letter last week that mirrors the increase from Federal/CCI/Speer/Remington brands. Winchester just went up on 9mm and now says they expect to go up on 9mm again, and follow Federal on other calibers in May. Several other manufacturers have verbally stated they will follow Federal's lead and increase in a similar percentage with a 6% to 7% price increase coming in June. If you care about paying prices that are 6% to 7% more, now is the time to buy.

Another great day at the range. Very light wind so I pushed the AR out to 300. Was able to bang the 4"x4" 9 out of 10. Considering the loads I was shooting that was damn good.

That's good. Using the light bullets in the AR??
I just got done sieving through 440 Buffalo nickels. I did find one from the mid-teens in damned good shape. Well, that's not an actual grade. I think it's XF. It's one of the rare ones, so it's a find.
Off to read soon, and to hope that I'm not killed in my sleep.
