So, this was the music I listened to... A lot. But, those days were filled with so much different music!
In high school, every class took turns being in charge of the music in the canteen, always to someone's frustration and others joy. But if nothing, it exposed us to a lot of music!

Your Top 5 Favorite Paintings

I apologize for the "basic bitch" that I am. I love the classics. They are what inspired me to paint.

About 10 years ago I decided to paint nine miniature versions of my favorite paintings. I display them in my home. They aren't perfect, but they gave me a lot of joy when painting them.

I will narrow it down to the top five...

Your Top 5 Favorite Paintings

Troll och Tuvstarr - by John Bauer. His love for fairy tales is so imprinted on me that his view is all I see. This is what trolls look like. This is what elves look like. Every other version are misinterpretations.

El Perro - one of the "Black Paintings" by de Goya, painted 200 years ago directly unto the walls of his own home. Never intended for public showings, these paintings bare the soul trapped beneath de Goyas deteriorating mind. Madness.

Untitled - by Bryan Lewis Saunders, a performance artist who paints a self portrait every day, and has done so for 30 years. This one is from a series he made, where every day for two months he took a different type of drug, and this specific one was done on a heroic dose of Psilocybin (magic mushrooms).

Atomic Children - Trying to pick one specific piece by H.R. Giger is difficult, but the absolute other-ness of Atomic Children sets it apart from his other Alien inspiring works. How a human mind can come up with these concepts is beyond me.

Blue Nude #4 - by Henri Matisse. Not actually a painting, but blue paper cutouts made glued onto white. As he was recovering from surgery and did not yet have full agency over his body, Matisse could not stop creating. His Blue Nudes series is beautiful.

I’m a fan of queer and trans art and gravitate towards that. While the greats are great for a reason, they are not the works that I find myself spending time with and analyzing and digging into. One of my ultimate favourite artists is Jean-Michel Basquiat, and today this particular piece is the one I felt like listing.
