The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Has anyone watched Masters of the Air? It’s like a Band of Brothers but set with bomber crews. I was just watching a few episodes, those were some brave kids flying those planes…
I have not seen it yet. I want to.

Might be a little bit triggering, we will see.

Jimmy Stewart, the actor, was a real bomber pilot. He flew B-24s over Europe. Balls of steel.

He suffered tremendous bouts of PTSD through the entire filming of it’s a wonderful life. He’d only gotten out of the service about a year before.

Morning all. Busy weekend. Yard work, farm work.

Started off trays of marigolds, Roma tomatoes, pumpkins and gourds for selling at the farm stand.

Back is doing pretty well. I tried a CBD cream on Saturday and it really seemed to work. I was skeptical. We’ll see.

Back to work today.

You lots were a pack of Chatty Cathys last night. Coffee is nearly done here. There be a couple of phone interviews this afternoon. We'll see how that goes.

Families are weird. I prefer the ones I picked to the ones I'm actually kin to.

Fred the cat is doing fine. She's just about done shedding her winter coat.

Phone interviews?
What is the open position
(Dirty mind always)

Yes and it was an amazing story of young men who lived and died in the air. It is not the glorified version of 12 O’Clock high. Not for the feint of heart.
When I have more time I’ll relay my great Uncles bomber story. He was 8th AF out of Lakenheath. I’ve seen the ads for that show and need to find it. On the watch list. With that, your morning Zen…
