I was given a rifle and a bullet. To get another I had to bring back a squirrel or a rabbit

The day I brought back 2 rabbits I was given the whole box

You watched Quigley Down Under, didn't you???

The one time we went quail hunting, one of the setters just went ahead and killed the bird instead of flushing it. It saved on shells.

Good ole Spot is just a baby. See how he looks in another ten years.

All tech is going to develop in accelerating leaps and bounds now that AI is out of the box. Just a few years ago humans had to do all of the locomotion coding by hand, now an AI can be prompted to do it.

Prompt:
Tune all thermal imaging scanners on the network to look for concealed weapons on persons and in vehicles. Track any person in possession of weapons, analyze their media consumption and identify potential threats to citizens and law enforcement personnel and agencies. Mobilize available assets to intercept and neutralize any imminent disruptive actions.
*chuckle* For every measure there is a counter-measure. All of that shit gets tried out be the military first and the way that goes is;

First they make sure that everything plays as advertised.

Then they do their best to fuck it up by any means necessary.

Those folks that do that shit are out there walking among you, assuming you go out at all. And most of them, believe it or not, take their oath to the Constitution very seriously. And the oath is to the Constitution, not some general or anyone in the White House.

So you just go ahead and sit there conjuring all the futuristic images you can, be a Jules Vern. Just remember, for every Jules Vern there's a H G Wells.

I started hunting Dove with a 410. Starting out I'd go through a whole box of shells with nothing to show for it. I eventually got to the point I could limit out and still have shells left over.

Which is kind of how we learned stuff when we were coming along. I learned how to cope crown molding by watching a guy over his shoulder.

There is a term to describe how crown is coped. I've had a couple of guys ask me about trim work, telling me what wonderful trim carpenters they were/are, and I would asked them, "how do you cope crown molding?" The next one who gives me the right answer, I will hire.

They're batting 0.000 to date.

I've never done crown molding, never had the opportunity. But I've done base molding and rub rails, I assume the technique is the same.

so, who's to blame here, fellas? Tennessee is a lonnnng way from Mexico, Islamic fundies don't rock like this and he doesn't seem to be a BLM/Antifa/Pink Pussy Hat member...

clearly he wasted money buying the drone, right? ;)
Interesting point of fact here. Many of these college campus shootings that happen from someone that's mentally ill, in fact, the majority of the shootings that happen that get stopped... It's not the cops that stop the shootings. The shooting stops because a good guy, a bystander who had a gun, an armed civilian, had the courage to step in and pull the trigger.

Crazy people will always find ways to get guns and weapons if they want them. So will criminals. What stops them is the good guys having guns too.

I’ll post this again because 🙄🙄🙄🙄

You can skip to and start watching at the 6:20 time mark. YW.

There are points of intersection, yes.

See what I did there??? :ROFLMAO: :nana:

I find that not much else works like except for bed molding. Slightly different, but basically the same.

And some base caps.

What the report cited and the parody (not all that funny) ignores is that many of these are stopped by good guys with guns who never have to pull the trigger. The point of a gun, in self defense and defense of others, is ideally a show of force... NOT having to shoot.

By the way, this is in large point a moot argument when it comes to the 2nd Amendment. The founders made the purpose of the amendment clear: the overthrow by the people of an unconstitutional, tyrannical government. Remember this is on the heels of the Revolution with British tyranny via an armed presence in fresh mind. The purpose was never self defense or hunting. It was to keep a government terrified of it's citizens.

Clearly you misunderstood or ignored that 1 in 5 of the instances where a shooter was stopped was by an unarmed person.
And, you obviously missed reading the news of almost 400 good guy law enforcement officials who responded to and stood idle outside a classroom in Uvalde. Also, you can spare me your Mark Levin interpretation of the 2A. I live in the real world and not in 1791 Colonial America.

This is an interesting perspective. Thomas Jefferson said in a letter to William Stephens Smith "What country before ever existed a century and half without a rebellion? And what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."

I like this one too! "When government fears the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny."

We are citizens to be served by our government, not serfs beholding to it.

I, personally, could give a rats ass about 2 privileged males debating what they believe to be government tyranny.

At least the three (per)cents worth seem to be paying attention. We hope we stay at our hearths nd our houses and are left to tend to our affairs in peace, but should the feces come into contact with the rotating blades . . . there is the option.
