So question, is there a word limit to what you can submit? Or do people submit in... I shall call it chapters. Do people submit in chapters purely due to personal constraints?

No word limit, there is a minimum. I write shorter stories as I lose concentration.

There is a lower word limit, 750 words, i believe.

I do chapters as the story sometimes just gets out of hand. The long ones were because I couldn't split them... both had a big period of no action, then lots, so it made no sense. Also, i really wanted to try and stretch things with them, one is 23 pages, the other 21.

Some of mine started as a one off, but grew.

A lot of people like shorter stories, so having a few pages is enough for them.
