I hope you get there! When I was a kid, I wanted the years to pass quickly; I was in a hurry to grow up. Now, at my age, I want to hold onto the years but they pass much too fast.

I thought my 70s would be different than they are now. I am committed to 3 things I learned from my late wife: 1) do now not later, 2) seize the moment, 3) solutions not excuses. My 70s are now very enriched.

My grandmother was a huge fan of both this time of day and of coffee. And Kent cigarettes. Of course, that was then.

You're so kind to hope so!?!? Getting to 70yo is one thing but being happy at 70 is an entirely different thing waking up this morning I was all aches and pain?? What more if you add a dozen or so years??

I understand what you're saying about years. They do fly by faster and faster as we age. Trust me I know the feeling.

Thank you for the encouragement buddy!!! My dad was diabetic and took metformin not years but decades. Ruined his kidneys but hey it kept him alive all those years. I'm ofc prediabetic but after losing like 35 lbs I was taken off Jardiance since my A1C went down to a 5.4 yay!!

We'll see if I do ........ If I don't then whaddya gonna do oh well !??? Thank you again!

Funny how when we see friends or relatives we haven't seen in like awhile and we see them at a family gathering.......... topic of conversation eventually steers to what meds and what dosages we're all taking ?!? Such an enjoyable topic?!?

I've come to the simple conclusion of just take the darn meds and be done with it. All im asking for my birthday is a " fancier or at least a nicer " pill box!?!?

Went to the nursery yesterday and got all my annuals to fill planters. It was a wee bit warm so punted till today…Why do today what you can put off till tomorrow?

Well, it’s pouring down! Haha!

At least I can sit on the porch and plant my two bonsai’s I purchased. They’re replacing the two that didn’t make it in in time and the cold got them .

What color did you pick?

That's the beauty of paint. When you're tired of it, just paint over.

I picked a dark avacado color (my fave color) with white trim and a black roof. My only concern is that it will look to modern. I chose same color for doors and I wish I would have chosen an accent color.... but we will see. It can get so expensive l... they wanted 120$ for cheap plastic flowerboxes. Nope and 200 for a ramp....again nope.... I qm going to paint my front door the color of shed and I think the doors of the shed the color of my house. We will both have black roof.....

Yep.... nurses seem to gravitqte to friends pretty quick....we know the hell of life we have it have seen it and tried ..sometimes successfully sometimes not fixed it

I only take Glyburide, it's a older oral medication, and it's gotten my A1c down to 6.5. Glyburide has NO side effects for me. Metformin made me violently ill. The newer drugs play havoc with my other medications. I only weigh 156lbs and I don't want to lose more because I'll blow away...
