I'm not sure that I'd want another FAL or a G3, but they are good rifles. You don't get to be the Right Arm of the Free World and not have something on the ball.

I think it's pretty much a toss-up between the M14 and the FAL. I like the old FALs with wood furniture.


I think that there's some wood furniture floating around for the M16A1s, too, IIRC.

I've seen some beautiful wood furniture on FALS, online. Truly artsy stuff if 1 was inclined to make a safe queen. Maybe one day...lol.
