I still have a sensitivity to heat & bright sunshine in the effected areasPain is dependent on the depth of the burn. A 3rd° burn destroys nerve endings so you would not have pain there. More than pain, the real issue for burn victims is infection and fluid management. Those people who work burn units are angels on earth. It is REALLY hard work, both physically and emotionally.
How are you managing now?
I was right under it... complete darkness for more 3 minutes and the Corona was very visible at the peak of the event.I was just wondering if you could see any of it.
306 and it’s noticeably darker. The clouds moved in just around 1pm.
It passed directly over me. Totally dark and I could see the Corona of the sun. F'n awesome. I'll be 147 before it happens againDefinitely dark. The eclipse is not complete here but a crescent.
I empathize with ya. Wife's birthday Sunday. It was a party complete with crowd..... Tired tired tiredWinds gone in Denver. Warming back up.
Recovering from my weekend of being a busy grandfather and amateur chef.

It’s good enough for the Italians?I’m jealous!
I am at work. They frown on things such as naps here for weird reasons….some abstract ideas about responsibility, wages, contract, etc etc..
I think naps at work would make me more productive
I am.just fed up with it.
To quote the late Raul Julia....In the scene from the 'Gumball Rally".....when he breaks off the rear view mirror and tosses it behind and exclaims......"First rule of Italian driving.....what's behind me is not important"That's a lovely memory! My parents only drove sticks and insisted we all learn.
The first car I bought by myself was a Mustang. I rocked up to the dealership in tight white jeans and a red and white striped tube top (70s) asking for a stick shift. The salesman asked, "Do you even know how to drive a stick, little girl?" I very sweetly asked him if he would give me lessons... then proceeded to scare the crap out of him on the test drive. I learned to drive in Italy. So Cal drivers have nothing on Italians!

but they cut off Floyd's "Eclipse". to quickly....we needed to hear the final words....."There is no dark side of the moon really! matter of fact its all dark! The only thing that makes it look light, is the sun"This could be one of the worst songs ever made, but I couldn’t just sit here and watch a classic rock song…
Great photo!Eclipse at my house
