Here the eclipse will be at ~3:15 PM, and a person near me said, in total seriousness “how are we supposed to get home from work?”

I’m jealous!

I am at work. They frown on things such as naps here for weird reasons….some abstract ideas about responsibility, wages, contract, etc etc. .

I think naps at work would make me more productive

I was called in Friday night after hours for 3 hours
This is to balance that out (no overtime here)
However, have been napping my lunch breaks for a few years now. Only way to get through a full day on the PC with the dry eye.
I think the Jetsons had a better handle on work-life balance tbh

It was a beautiful morning, and they went for a quick walk at lunchtime, and it was nice and sunny out.

The eclipse starts here around 2 PM, and of course it started getting overcast…

Good luck to those of you who can see it today! (I’m actually on a boring conf call right now)…

I’m on the far southwestern fringe area for viewing but it was spectacular and a clear view although about only 75% coverage is the best I could get.

But that is noticiby darker and the animals notice, especially the birds.

So it’s a great day to be a “Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court” and escape the hangman’s noose.

306 and it’s noticeably darker. The clouds moved in just around 1pm.

It’s pretty dark here in NJ. But just looks like a cloudy dark day here.
