So, a little rant first if I may.
I'm not one to comment on others without being willing to contribute myself. That's just my belief. I don't hold it against anyone who feels otherwise.
That being said, I've been hesitant to post because I had heart surgery over the summer and was left with a foot long scar down my sternum. It ain't going away anytime soon so there's no better time than the present to share.

I totally understand! I've struggled with my new scars also. Had a Whipple surgery in August and my scar is huge. It is already looking better than it did. But I still struggle. Good on you for your vulnerability. ❤️

Looking good! Medical scars are the battlexwounds of our day. Scars are proof that we lived & overcame. It makes your body look strong & interesting, like there's a story there. My spouse gets self conscious sometimes, he has a ton of scars from two bouts with cancer, multiple surgeries, etc. I think it makes him look hot AF, like a mother effing viking!!!!

I've always thought scars are part of life. I have some ugly once myself but I have embraced them. ( I even joke that the guy who sew me up hopefully is working as a pathologist now. )
I understand that it is more difficult for ladies to do so, but it shouldn't be. Every scar has a story and being older means that there is a history.

Don't take this as some persuasion to post pics, just a friendly post to say that we are a bunch with scars and they shouldn't bother us.

I appreciate it. I would tell anyone else the same. I'm sure I'll get better in time. It's just still a reminder of the fight I haven't won yet. The breast cancer scar doesn't even phase me anymore. This one's just a lot bigger.
But I appreciate the words. Thank you. 💋

I agree with all of y'all.

Personally, I love scars. Both on me and others. They are physical reminders of our fragility and ability to overcome. My body is covered in them from medical challenges over the years. Every time I see them I am reminded of the miracle of modern medicine; a testament to the fact that if it weren't for that I'd no longer be walking this earth.

When I see scars on others I'm grateful that they're still here, too 🧡

Great share! Our scars or stretch marks or bruises or whatever we have, are art on our body that tell a story. I’m glad you are here to tell and share yours. 💕

Edited to remove the link and to say I should have read all y’all’s wonderful responses. Of course litsters understand and celebrate all our bodies have been through.

Very nice chest! Thank you! 💋

Gorgeous! And that color looks amazing on you!
Thank you! 💕
Gorgeous as always, but this might be the first time I have seen your mouth without a huge smile on it.
😂
Omg this is the first time I have not seen you smile
😂

I always post smiling pics because I’m almost always smiling. Sometimes I try to take serious pics or pics where my mouth is going something sexy or fun but they don’t often go over as well. 😂😂
This one is serious but I thought it was kind of sexy serious and not a mad serious…maybe I failed at that🤷🏻‍♀️

Your comments have me smiling though. 😘
