Former Trump officials are among the most vocal opponents of returning him to the White House

Former Defense Secretary Mark Esper has called him a “threat to democracy.” Former national security adviser John Bolton has declared him “unfit to be president.” And former Vice President Mike Pence has declined to endorse him, citing “profound differences.”

As Donald Trump seeks the presidency for a third time, he is being vigorously opposed by a vocal contingent of former officials who are stridently warning against his return to power and offering dire predictions for the country and the rule of law if his campaign succeeds.

It’s a striking chorus of detractors, one without precedent in the modern era, coming from those who witnessed first-hand his conduct in office and the turmoil that followed.

Sarah Matthews, a former Trump aide who testified before the House Jan. 6 committee and is among those warning about the threat he poses, said it’s “mind-boggling” how many members of his senior staff have denounced him.

“These are folks who saw him up close and personal and saw his leadership style,” Matthews said.

“The American people should listen to what these folks are saying because it should be alarming that the people that Trump hired to work for him a first term are saying that he’s unfit to serve for a second term.”

The quote given from Rex Tillerson is pretty lame. Since he was the first one in the Trump administration to publicly call Trump a moron, I think that quote would be better.

Trump's management style certainly doesn't include the talent of maintaining employee loyalty.

If you turn the page and read, some family members are unhappy with his running.

According to The Mercury News: “There’s nobody around him who wants him to do it,” an anonymous Trump adviser told New York magazine writer Olivia Nuzzi about how people in his family really feel about him running for president again. “Forget Jared and Ivanka — Don Jr. doesn’t want him to do it!”

Then you can add other family members:

Dr. Mary Trump, his niece, calls him a narcissist with mental health issues that have gone untreated. She is a licensed practicing psychiatrist.

Melania or Melody, whichever Trump uses today, isn't by his side this time in his campaign.

His daughter, Ivanka, the one he has a gleam in his eye for, and his son-in-law, Jared, are not joining in the political fray. "Focusing on raising a family."

After his indictment, Tiffany, Marla's daughter, Trump's second wife, stopped campaigning for him.

Barron, bless his heart; he is just glad to be out of the limelight and happy playing soccer.

Maryann Trump, Donald's deceased sister, a former Federal Judge, left voiced statements, “His goddamned tweet and lying, oh my God,” she said, according to the recording. “I’m talking too freely, but you know. The change of stories. The lack of preparation. The lying. Holy shit.” Further recordings by her claim Donald had someone take his college SAT test for him. Holy shit, indeed!

I was going to go that deep because he's been a piece of shit for so long but most of the MAGAts didn't care to know much about him until he started with his racist rhetoric campaign.

This guy isn’t one of the corrupt orange traitor’s "best people", but he is an ACTUAL billionaire, so I believe his opinion is relevant:

From the article:

“Truth Social parent company Trump Media is a “scam,” billionaire investor Barry Diller told CNBC in an interview Thursday.

“It’s a scam, just like everything he’s ever been involved in is some sort of con,” Diller said on CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” referring to former President Donald Trump and Trump Media & Technology Group.”

😳

Has anyone that has worked for him come out in support of him?

'Unprecedented' and 'stunning' number of Trump administration alums oppose his reelection

A minimum of 16 Trump administration veterans have sharply criticized the ex-president, with terms such as "threat to democracy," "erratic," "delusional" and "narcissistic."

The sheer number of Trump officials − a minimum of 16 − speaking out against their former boss, and the severity of their criticism, is highly unusual. It has no historical precedent in the last century, according to three presidential historians and a political scientist interviewed by USA TODAY.

“I don’t think we’ve seen anything like this, certainly not in the last 100 years,” said Lindsay Chervinsky, a senior fellow at the Center for Presidential History at Southern Methodist University.
